Registration Deadlines

Early Decision: July 1st, 2008
Late Decision: August 15th, 2008

Application Process for Class 2010 beginning in Fall 2008:

1. Order all transcripts and have them sent directly to the EMIL address above (International Applicants please see below for document specifics).

2. Fill out and submit the Graduate Admissions ONLINE APPLICATION along with the $50 non-refundable application fee (tips below)

*EMIL does not require a Statement of Purpose - so you may place N/A in this section

3. Print out the EMIL Application and mail/fax to EMIL address above

4. Print and have your doctor fill out the following Health Forms and submit according to the directions. EMIL cannot accept these documents directly because of HIPAA Law. E-mail emil@isye.gatech.edu for your GTID# once you have completed #1 above.

5. Order all GRE or GMAT (Institute Code: R5248, Dept Code: 00 ) and TOEFL* (Institute Code: 5248, Dept. Code: 0205 ) scores from the testing service who administered the exam and have them sent directly to Georgia Tech

6. Submit Company Letter of Sponsorship to the EMIL address above (Letter of Sponsorship Template)

7. Please submit 3 Letters of Recommendation to the EMIL address above or they can be submitted online through the Graduate Admissions Online Application

Cost

The fee for Georgia Tech EMIL Class 2010 is $35,500 US for tuition and $27,000 US for lodging, most meals, text books and other teaching materials during the residences for a total of $62,500 paid in $12,500 installments each of the 5 semesters. The fees do not include the cost of a laptop, which is required for the program, or air travel. Each participant should also set aside approximately $1,000 to pay for other meals and miscellaneous personal trip expenses (i.e. phone calls, laundry, etc.).

International Applicants Additional Document Details

Official Transcripts & Degree Documents in both the native language and translated into English for all universities attended and all degrees received. Originals or certified copies are accepted, but originals will not be returned.

TOEFL – If English is not your native language, please register to take the TOEFL by calling (609) 771-7100. Scores must be reported to us directly from the testing service and they are only valid for two years from the date the test was administered. The institute code for TOEFL is 5248. (If you have attended a US college or university for at least one full academic year, you are exempt from the TOEFL)
