A member of the EMIL class of 2002, Guy credits the program with giving him a much broader perspective of supply chain operations both within his own organization and in other industries. His fifteen years of experience in the logistics field includes managing Intel’s transportation network throughout Europe and managing their FAB Sort Manufacturing throughout Ireland, Israel and the US, so he came to EMIL with a solid international background.

Q. How has the EMIL program benefited your company?

A. It's given me, and from me to our managers, a better understanding of different areas of the supply chain and how they interact with each other. This, in turn, leads to better decision making and more effective prioritization of our resources.

Q. What was the most valuable aspect of the EMIL program to you personally?

A. The opportunity to meet with colleagues from other industries in different parts of the world was really unique. There's nothing like being face-to-face and sharing ideas with people who are involved with the same type of work I do.

Q. How does your EMIL experience impact your current position?

A. I benefit from EMIL every day. As a manager at a global organization, I find that I use what I learned in EMIL at every meeting I attend and with every decision I make. From supply chain financials and pricing to reverse logistics and outsourcing options – I leverage the knowledge I've gained in all these areas daily.
